This summer, the Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL) is running its official PSAL Summer Sports and Fitness program for all NYC students entering grades 9–12 in September 2023.

Running Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m.—6:00 p.m., July 10—August 10, 2023, the PSAL Summer Sports and Fitness program provides students with comprehensive athletic training, fitness and conditioning, and sports-specific skill development at different sites across all five boroughs. Students can choose one sports/activity from each of the two scheduled sessions, with Session One taking place July 10—July 25, and Session Two taking place July 26—August 10.

Registering for PSAL H.S. Summer Sports and Fitness Sessions

Any and all NYC students entering grades 9–12 in fall 2023 can register online for PSAL High School Summer Sports and Fitness Program sessions at any participating site, space permitting. Students do not need to attend any particular school to register for program sessions.

Students may only select one site/program for any given session. Once a registration has been submitted, the applicant will be notified if their application has been approved for the site and program they selected. Space is limited—if a site/program has reached capacity, applicants will have the ability to re-register at other available sites/programs.

Non-DOE, charter, and private school students, as well as students without nine-digit Student ID (OSIS) numbers, must register for their preferred sites/programs directly on-sitethey cannot register for Sports and Fitness Program sessions with our online registration form.

To see which sports/activities are available in Sessions 1 and 2, check out our 2023 Summer Sports and Fitness program page—we also have a printable version of this information available (opens PDF), if that is your preference.
