As you plan for the next three school years, please check with your schools for information regarding other important dates and events, as they may not be fully reflected in any of the DOE’s citywide calendars.
DOE staff members, including teachers and central administrators, should refer to the DOE’s Central Calendar (DOE employee log-in required) for important dates next year, including professional development dates and staff holidays—check out the DOE’s InfoHub page to learn more.
Please note that “snow days,” and other days when school buildings are closed due to weather-related emergencies, will be remote learning days for students. All NYC Public School students and families should plan for remote learning during emergency weather events.
On behalf of the NYC Public Schools, we wish all of our students, families, and staff members a safe and rewarding 2023–24 school year!
