After a citywide transition to remote instruction on 12/17, all NYC public school students in grades 3K–5 and District 75 will return to in-person learning on Friday, December 18, 2020. Students in grades 6–12 will continue to learn remotely.

After receiving feedback from almost a half a million New Yorkers and guidance from federal, State, and City health officials, the NYC Department of Education has announced that it will transition City schools to a blended learning model for the upcoming 2020–2021 school year.
