The complete 2023–24 NYC Public Schools Calendar is available on our main website’s “2023–2024 School Year Calendar” page—there, you’ll also find printable versions of the 2023–24 calendar available in 10 languages.

As you plan for the upcoming school year, please check with your schools for information regarding other important dates and events, as they may not be fully reflected in the DOE’s citywide calendar.

DOE staff members, including teachers and central administrators, should refer to the DOE’s Central Calendar (DOE employee log-in required) for important dates next year, including professional development dates and staff holidays—check out the DOE’s InfoHub page to learn more.

Please note that “snow days,” and other days when school buildings are closed due to weather-related emergencies, will be remote learning days for students throughout 2023–24. All NYC Public School students and families should plan for remote learning during emergency weather events.

On behalf of the NYC Public Schools, we wish all of our students, families, and staff members a safe and rewarding 2023–24 school year!
