From now until Friday, February 10, 2023, New York City families with students in grades K–8 can apply to participate in STEM Matters NYC’s spring break enrichment programs.

Taking place during our public schools’ official Spring Recess (April 10–14, 2023), STEM Matters NYC’s spring break 2023 programs provide City students the chance to be a part of free, exciting and hands-on experiential science, technology, engineering, and math-related programs that are simply not available in their classrooms. Some of the learning opportunities available to students this spring recess include programs in animal science, aviation, marine biology, wildlife conservation, and space science!

All programs are scheduled to take place during the week of April 10–14 from 9:00 a.m.—3:00 p.m. at museums, zoos, gardens, and experiential learning centers located in all five boroughs. All students enrolled in NYC public schools this year (including charter programs) in grades K–8 can apply for STEM Matters NYC’s spring break programs.
