If you are a New York City resident between the ages of 14 and 24 and are legally allowed to work in the U.S., you can apply for the City’s Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP), the nation’s largest youth employment service!

SYEP helps City youth get paid work experience and career exploration opportunities throughout July and August. Applying today can get you access to paid entry-level jobs across various industries across the five boroughs, including:

  • Arts and Recreation
  • Educational Services
  • Financial Services
  • Healthcare/Medical
  • Hospitality/Tourism
  • Information Technology
  • Manufacturing
  • Marketing/Public Relations
  • Media/Entertainment

In addition to jobs, SYEP also provides paid project-based activities and workshops regarding job readiness, career exploration, financial literacy, and educational growth. There are even special service options for applicants from particular residential communities, select DOE schools, and other circumstances.
