NYC families: time’s running out to send us your thoughts about NYC schools!
From now until Friday, March 25, City families, teachers, and select support staff members in schools serving grades 3-K through 12, and students in grades 6–12, can complete the NYC School Survey. Released every year, the survey provides us with your feedback regarding your experiences in NYC public schools. By completing this survey, you can help our schools better understand what you and your fellow community members think about your school’s learning environments, curricula, support services, COVID-19 protocols, and more. In fact, the information you provide can help foster conversations within your school community that will result in making your school a better place to learn!
Taking the 2022 NYC School Survey
Complete the survey at NYCSchoolSurvey.org
- If your child is in grades K–12, you will need your child’s nine-digit student identification number, or OSIS, to begin filling out your survey online. You can find the OSIS on your student’s report card, school ID card, or on their NYC Schools Account. Once on the survey page, you must enter, “f,” followed by your child’s OSIS to access the survey. Note that the “f” must be lowercase.
- If your child is in 3-K or Pre-K, please contact your child’s school or program to receive your survey access code.
Survey results will be shared with schools this summer to support our preparation and planning work for the 2022–2023 school year. The DOE will release the 2022 survey results to the general public in fall 2022.
Please note that individual responses from families, students, and teachers are never shared with schools or with the DOE.
