Beginning Friday, December 24, all NYC public schools will be closed for Winter Recess.

Schools will remain closed through Friday, December 31, 2021. In addition, most DOE offices, including Family Welcome Centers, will be closed during this period—please check with those offices for further information.

City public schools will reopen on Monday, January 3, 2022.
