Now that the inclement weather is behind us, NYC public school buildings are ready to reopen.

On Friday, December 18, 2020, all NYC public school buildings will reopen for in-person learning to all students in grades 3K–5, as well as all students in District 75. All students in grades 6–12 are expected to continue learning remotely on December 18.

In addition, all programs and activities will be held as scheduled, including all DOE-based Community Meal service.

On behalf of the NYC Department of Education, we thank all of the custodial engineers and facility staff members who were out in full force throughout the storm working towards the safe return of City public school students and staff members on 12/18!
