NYC students — ready for a challenge?
From now until August 17, City students are invited to participate in the NYC Department of Education’s first-ever citywide Summer Enrichment Challenges.
Students citywide in grades K–12 can join the fun with any of our weekly challenges—there’s something for everyone, including:
- Dance and performing arts challenges;
- Minecraft-based pixel portrait contests;
- pigeon-watching scavenger hunts organized by Audubon New York;
- Augmented reality (AR) workshops (grades 9–12);
- and more!
And did we mention that participating students might even win a prize or two?
To compete in our challenges, students will need to submit their entries through Flipgrid. New challenges will be posted to the DOE’s Summer Enrichment Challenges website every week, so please check back every Monday until August 17 for new challenges!
