Have questions about the health and safety of NYC public schools?

On Thursday, December 17, the NYC Department of Education and the NYC Mayor’s Office are hosting #NYCOfficeHours, our joint telephone town hall for NYC public school families.

During the town hall, which will run from 6:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m., Dr. Jay Varma, senior advisor for public health at the Mayor’s Office, and Adrienne Austin, acting deputy chancellor of the DOE’s Division of Community Empowerment, Partnerships, and Communications, will be taking questions from families regarding topics such as COVID-19 testing in schools, ventilation, personal protective equipment (PPE), sanitization practices, and more.

To participate in #NYCOfficeHours, dial 1-800-280-9461 on Thursday, December 17, at 6:30 p.m., or visit on.nyc.gov/doeofficehours to get started.
