Got questions for us? We are here to answer en español!
In a joint partnership with Univision 41 Nueva York and the Hispanic Federation, the New York City Department of Education (DOE) will be hosting an education phone bank in Spanish on Thursday, May 28!
We are excited to have the opportunity to support our Spanish-speaking families directly and share the information students and families may need as we prepare to close out the 2019–2020 school year together! Through this phone bank, we hope to increase awareness of DOE resources available to Latinx families and students throughout the Tristate area.
If you have any questions about educational services or resources, call 1-844-HF-AYUDA (1-844-432-9832) during the hours of 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., E.S.T., on May 28. Spanish-speaking experts and representatives from the Hispanic Federation and the DOE will answer your questions on:
-
- Mental health support, education policy updates (i.e. the DOE’s new remote learning grading policy); and
-
- Remote learning access assistance, including translation/interpretation services needed as their students continue online learning.
Don’t hesitate to call in with any questions you may have, and please feel free to tell a friend!
We look forward to speaking with you en su idioma (in your language).
