When this historic year of 2020 is all said and done, the students who make up New York City’s Class of 2020 will be called “resilient,” “brave,” and even “inspirational.”

We’ll call them “graduates.

In celebration of the end of a school year that has been unlike any other, on June 30, the NYC Department of Education will honor the Class of 2020 with its first-ever NYC Graduation Celebration.

Broadcasting LIVE on Tuesday, June 30, beginning at 7 p.m. on PIX 11 and NYCClassof2020.comthe event will highlight our graduating high school seniors and feature messages and congratulations from family members and special guests like Lin-Manuel Miranda, Kenan Thompson, Nick Kroll, Pitbull, Angela Yee, Phony Ppl, and more. We hope you’ll join us as we show our love and appreciation to the largest graduating class in the nation!
