It seems like everyone is getting in on the “Teacher Appreciation Week” action, and rightfully so!

Jimmy Fallon, host of NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” dedicated May 8’s episode of the long-running late night series to teachers in celebration of National Teacher Appreciation Day.

In addition, Fallon invited 200 NYC teachers to be part of the episode’s live studio audience!

For more, check out the full episode on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” website.

And don’t forget to thank your teachers! Use the DOE’s official Thank You Tool to send heartfelt notes of appreciation directly to your favorite NYC teachers.

On behalf of the DOE, we thank Jimmy Fallon and “The Tonight Show” team for supporting our hardworking educators!
