Representatives from over 50 community-based organizations and City agencies will be in attendance at the 2018 Think-Move-Achieve Resource Expo on October 4!

Are you are teacher, school staff member, or parent who is interested in improving your school’s health, fitness, and wellness programming for students?

Want to learn how you can help the next generation of City students develop healthy wellness habits that can last a lifetime?

Then stop by the 2018 Think-Move-Achieve Resource Expo on Thursday, October 4 at the Lost Battalion Hall Recreation Center in Rego Park, Queens!

Organized by the DOE’s Office of School Wellness Programs and the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation, the 2018 Think-Move-Achieve Resource Expo provides attendees with access to over 60 partner organizations who are offering free and low-cost physical activity, health, and wellness programming for City schools.

Some of the resources and activities that will be featured at the Expo include:

  • the DOE’s free wellness support and resources;
  • NYC Parks’ free and low-cost public programs;
  • physical education and health education curricular resources;
  • up-to-date wellness research, policy and advocacy resources; and
  • raffle prizes

Teachers, school staff members, and parents are all welcome to come and browse the Expo’s exhibit tables, meet representatives from our partner organizations, and take information back to City schools.
