Editor’s Note: This post has been updated to reflect the fact that Middle School Fairs will NOT be held in Districts 24, 26, or 27 this year.

Learn about the various programs available in your local middle schools during this year’s Middle School Fairs!

Thinking about applying to any of New York City’s public middle schools (grades 6–8) for attendance in September 2019?

Consider attending any of the DOE’s upcoming Middle School Fairs!

From October 3 – October 18, 2018, families can stop by Middle School Fairs in their community school districts to learn more about the City’s middle schools admissions processes. Families will also be able to gather more information about the middle schools that will be available in their local school districts in fall 2019.

Each fair will be staffed by DOE staff members who will be able to answer middle school enrollment and application questions.

To learn when and where your district’s Middle School Fair will take place, visit our Middle School Enrollment Calendar page.

Please note that the DOE will NOT host fairs in Districts 24, 26, or 27 this year, as all families who live in these three districts are currently zoned to their local middle schools. If your family resides in any of these three districts, use our Find a School tool to learn more about your zoned middle school.

On behalf of the DOE, we wish all middle school applicants a successful school year!
