Students who are accepted into the Ranger Conservation Corps can go on exciting field trips, including canoeing, overnight camping, and more!
Are you a high school student who is interested in nature and issues affecting the environment?
Consider applying for NYC Parks‘ Ranger Conservation Corps Internship!
Through the Ranger Conservation Corps, interns gain valuable experience working with NYC Parks’ Urban Park Rangers to help maintain and restore New York’s natural areas in City parks. Interns may also go on field trips, and every participant is credited with valuable community service hours that look great on any college application!
To apply, contact the Ranger Conservation Corps through NYC Parks’ official online form. Registration is on a rolling basis year round, as Ranger Conservation Corps session dates are flexible and are held during the fall and spring seasons.
To learn more, visit the Ranger Conservation Corps Internship page, or call 311 and ask for the Urban Park Rangers.
