Every school year, over 45,000 City high school students compete in thousands of sporting events that are organized and sanctioned by the Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL), the DOE’s official interscholastic high school athletics organization
Thanks to PSAL, thousands of students across the City are able to represent their schools and face-off against each another in 25 sports for bragging rights, glory, and lifelong memories.
Yet, out of the tens of thousands of student-athletes who participate in PSAL sports every school year, only a select few earn the right to be called, “champions.”
In celebration of the City’s top student-athletes and teams, The Morning Bell put together the following list of NYC’s 2017–18 PSAL champions. Take a look and see who came out on top this past school year!
