Interested in getting a PAID JOB this summer?
Then apply for NYC’s Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP)!
SYEP provides City youth, aged 14–24, with paid summer employment for up to six weeks in July and August. Participants work in entry-level jobs across various industries throughout the five boroughs, including:
- Arts and Recreation
- Educational Services
- Financial Services
- Information Technology
- Marketing/Public Relations
- Real Estate/Property
In addition to jobs, SYEP also provides workshops about job readiness, career exploration, financial literacy, and educational growth.
To be considered for this program, youth can apply online or submit a completed paper application to any of the City’s community-based partners (see the list of organizations attached to the application for details) by Friday, March 30, 2018.
In addition, applicants must also provide copies of documents listed in SYEP’s Required Documents checklist, including photo IDs, working papers, proof of family income, and proof of age.
