McGruff the Crime Dog Waves at P.S. 100 Students

Even McGruff the Crime Dog got into RFA Week festivities!

During February 9–15, hundreds of public schools and community organizations across New York City celebrated Respect for All Week, the DOE’s annual call to action for City schools to build, promote, and maintain safe and inclusionary environments on behalf of all students, staff, and community members.

Throughout the week, students, teachers, parents, and DOE staff members shared photos and videos of their RFA Week-related activities and events on social media under the tag, #RespectforAll.

To see for yourself how RFA Week 2018 turned out, take a look at the DOE’s Twitter feed as well as the slideshow below to see how some City schools chose to highlight diversity and combat bullying, bias, harassment, and dating violence this year.

On behalf of the NYC Department of Education, we thank all the students, staff members, families, and community partners who helped make RFA Week 2018 a success!
