nyc256Are you an NYC high school student between the ages of 15 and 20 who loves to write personal stories?

Know a high schooler who wants to write stories on behalf of other City teens?

Then consider applying to YCteen’s spring writing internship!

Between now and Friday, February 9, 2018, prospective teen writers can submit an online application for Youth Communication’s print magazine, YCteen.

Applicants selected for YCteen’s spring internship will get the opportunity to write stories for publication on YCteen’s website and print magazine, which is distributed to hundreds of City high schools, libraries, and community-based organizations.

To be selected for this program, applicants must:

  • Be between the ages of 15 and 20;
  • Enrolled in an NYC high school;
  • Have a strong interest in writing, and a willingness to learn;
  • Live in or near the City, and commit to working a minimum of 2 days a week, 2 hours a day for 3 months at YCteen’s midtown Manhattan office.
