With November just around the corner, it’s time to get ready to roll your clocks back to Standard Time, verify your local polling site for Election Day, and relearn how to pronounce the word, “tryptophan.”

Some quick notes about this month’s schedule:

  • Parent Teacher Conferences

Speak with teachers and staff members to confirm your school’s Parent Teacher Conference schedule, as some schools may have their own practices.

Parents: consider asking the questions listed on our website during your conferences to learn more about your children’s classroom experiences.

  • DOE Admissions Fairs

Throughout November, the DOE will offer families opportunities to learn more about the City’s elementary (including pre-k and G&T), middle, and high school admissions processes. Learn more about each of these opportunities, which include admissions events, district fairs, and school open houses, by checking out the following pages on our website:

Elementary Admissions Events

Middle School District Fairs and Open Houses

High School Admissions Fairs, Open Houses, and Info Sessions

That’s all for this month. We hope you all have a great November!
