In the fall, the NYC Department of Sanitation (DSNY), along with DOE and GrowNYC’s Recycling Champions Programs (RCP), launched a new social media platform and website called, Zero Waste Schools (ZWS): www.nyc.gov/zws.

The ZWS website is an online community that promotes sustainability and recycling in schools through social media, contests, and student and teacher-generated content.
