The 2017 NYC School Survey is now open, and parents/guardians of City public school students in grades pre-k through 12 are encouraged to share their feedback.

The NYC School Survey is one of the nation’s largest annual surveys. Results from the survey help principals and other school leaders learn and understand what students and families are saying about City schools. The survey is available in 10 languages, and results from the survey are included in each school’s Survey Report, School Quality Snapshot, and School Quality Guide.

City parents/guardians and students can fill out the the paper-based survey that City schools are distributing, or they can fill one out online at Online users can access the survey website by using the eight-digit access code located on the bottom right corners of our paper-based surveys. Parents/guardians that have lost or misplaced their survey materials can call the Survey Hotline at 1-800-690-8603 to receive an access code to complete the survey online. The deadline to submit surveys is Friday, March 31, 2017.
